Aydin Sadagheh

Aydin is the founder of Far-Sight Law Firm. Aydin ran the family department at a competitive litigation-heavy law firm in Calgary and moved on to running a successful practice at a second law firm where in addition to family law, he developed his skills in different areas of law such as criminal law, constitutional law, civil litigation, real estate and wills and estate matters. After honing his skills and building up experience, he has decided to establish his own law firm to offer quality and affordable legal services to clients.

Aydin completed his Juris Doctor in January 2020 from Queen’s University and he also holds a First Class Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary. Aydin is Iranian Canadian and is fully fluent in the Persian language. He can assist our clients in English and Farsi. Aydin has been engaged in the legal profession throughout his time at law school and has worked in private practice post-graduation. He has litigation experience working in several law firms in Kingston and Calgary and has conducted legal research for Academic papers at Queen’s University.

At our firm, he has represented clients in court at the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, and the Court of Appeal of Alberta, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He also has experience negotiating settlements through mediation and Settlement Agreements. Whether it is a contentious matter that needs to be dealt with in court or an amicable issue to resolve outside of court, Aydin delivers efficient and exceptional service for our clients.

In his spare time, Aydin likes to bring his focus and discipline to working out at the gym. Prior to law school, he was a personal trainer and continues weightlifting as a recreational activity.

Aydin also enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures. During his time at University, he traveled across Europe and East Asia learning about their legal systems and enriching his understanding of people from diverse backgrounds.

About Nainesh Kotak

Nainesh’s practice includes a heavy emphasis on long-term disability cases where clients suffer from depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Nainesh holds a wealth of experience, having appeared in trials with and without a jury at the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. He has represented clients and conducted appeals at the Federal Court level, Trial division. Nainesh has appeared before numerous Tribunal panels, including:

the Financial Services Commission, and
the Social Security Tribunal.

He has been featured in several televised, print and radio interviews on the subjects of Personal Injury and Long Term Disability claims.

Nainesh is active in the community and supports many worthy charities and causes. From 2015-2019 he brought a thousand troops, veterans, and cadets to a professional hockey game in a Remembrance Day event known as Kotak Law Military Appreciation Day.

He has organized and chaired webinars, roundtables, and luncheons to educate lawyers on topics such as practicing disability law and building a more diverse and inclusive practice.
