Prior to being called to the Bar of Ontario in 1992, I completed my Articles of Law in a busy, Bay Street family law and litigation firm, until setting up my own practice in uptown Toronto in November 1993.
Thereafter, I formed a partnership in April 1995 with my colleagues, Leo Monaco and Anthony De Marco, namely Monaco Boiani De Marco, Barristers and Solicitors, offering quality, reasonably valued legal services primarily in the fields of Family and Criminal Law ever since. Together, we have provided excellent and reasonably priced legal advice and representation to clients in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as the surrounding regions, and have a combined experience of well over 60 years.
We offer a range of services and fees for clients from all walks of life. I, personally, have been committed to access to justice for people in all economic circumstances by accepting Legal Aid since I commenced the practice of law.
Family law can, and frequently is, fraught with tension, emotion and crisis. By taking a client centered and rational approach, it has always been my goal to help clients craft solutions to problems that they can use to regain control of their issues going forward. The task of negotiation requires an ability not only to advocate for the client, but to actively listen to the opposing party’s point of view, and gain an understanding of what their goals are as well. In this way, the parties can have the solution they both need to regain control of their lives and families. That, ultimately, is my goal.
